Gather Point: A Seamless Real Estate Journey. This case study delves into the meticulous design phases of creating Gather Point, an app that marries user-friendly experiences with the latest UI trends. It highlights the evolution from initial concepts to a polished platform that stands out in the competitive real estate market.
Problem Statement:
Numerous individuals are actively seeking new housing options that accommodate short-term stays. They desire a streamlined process that allows them to secure such accommodations swiftly, without the usual expenditure of time and financial resources typically associated with house hunting. Conversely, property owners are facing challenges in effectively reaching out to potential tenants. Despite having available properties, they struggle to connect with the right clientele who are in search of short-term housing solutions.
Solution:
We initiated our project by conducting thorough research to comprehend the needs of our users. We then analyzed our competitors’ solutions and their approaches to similar challenges. Following this, we embarked on the design phase, creating prototypes that were rigorously tested with users. This iterative process was crucial to ensure that our final design solution was the most effective and user-friendly option available.
Project Goals :
Streamline the Rental Process by Simplifying the search and application process for renters, and Providing a seamless user experience from property discovery to lease signing.
Create an intuitive interface that encourages user interaction.
Expand Market Reach by localized content to cater to different regions and languages.
Make the experience and design trendy and friendly for users.
Expanding the types of accommodations available on the platform, such as adding unique stays like chalets, gardens, or hotels, to cater to the diverse traveler.
Ensure that the booking process is straightforward and user-friendly, with clear steps and minimal friction points to help users find and book accommodations quickly and easily.
Discovery & Ideation
We start looking at the global and local competitors and how they solve users problems and this involves researching and understanding the methods and features competitors use to address the needs and challenges of their users. It’s about identifying their solutions and how effective they are. and learn what is the difference between each one by identifying the unique selling points (USPs) and differentiators of each competitor.
User Flows
In the initial design stage of a real estate app, a well-planned user flow is crucial for establishing a solid foundation for user experience, ensuring that the app’s navigation is intuitive and logical, and setting the stage for a scalable design that can adapt to future enhancements and features, So this approach allowed me to apply my design thinking skills to create a streamlined form creation flow.
Wireframes
I want to convert the user flow to clear visual sketch to make the flow and idea clear for customer and users It will help to identify potential issues early on, ensuring a user-centric design that is both efficient and cost-effective by making streamlined user interactions for a more cohesive and seamless experience.
